De Leon Independent School District is a public school district based in De Leon, Texas. The schools in this district have been designated as Title I schools. Located in North Central Texas in Comanche County, small portions of the district extend into Erath and Eastland counties. In 2009, the school district was rated “academically acceptable” by the Texas Education Agency. The district’s minority enrollment is 40%. Also, 45.4% of students are economically disadvantaged.
